New Building

Mount Vale is a landmark historic building located in the centre of Clitheroe. Famously painted by the renowned artist LS Lowry, the building was a Methodist chapel until 1940, after which it was used as a textile factory up until 2003 when it was closed down.

It is now being developed by The Medina Partnership as a Masjid and Community Partnership Centre, offering services to all Muslims and the wider community. The building requires extensive renovation, repair works and refurbishment to prepare it for use as a masjid and community space.

There are three main floors in the building, as well as space at the rear which will accommodate an extension and car parking facilities. As the building is located in Clitheroe's town centre, it is easily accessible from all directions and is ideally positioned to help us deliver on our mission of creating an accessible and inclusive facility that will serve all the community.
